Porth Ceiriad is a secluded beach on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. Facing south-west, it picks up Atlantic swells that wrap around the peninsula and produces fun, uncrowded waves on a sandy bottom. Best at mid tide. The steep cliff path down to the beach keeps the crowds away. Sheltered from northerly winds. One of Wales's hidden gems for a quiet surf session.

Best at mid tide. Sheltered from northerly winds. Picks up SW-W swells that wrap around the Llyn Peninsula. One of Wales's hidden gems — worth the walk down. Check conditions before committing as it's a steep climb back up if it's flat.

Small car park at cliff top. Steep 10 minute walk down.

Facilities: None at beach. Warren holiday park nearby for basics.
